How the WC 2026 Predictor Challenge Works
The CalibrSports WC 2026 Predictor Challenge is a free bracket competition open to all registered users. You call the knockout stage from the Quarter-Finals onward — the 8 teams that reach the last eight, your 4 semi-finalists and 2 finalists, the champion, and the Golden Boot top scorer. Points are scored for every correct call, with bigger rewards the deeper a team goes.

- 6
Watch your score climb on the public leaderboard as each result settles.
How Points Are Scored
Points scale with how far a pick reaches. Each correct quarter-finalist is worth 3 points, each semi-finalist 5, and each finalist 7. Naming the champion is worth 15 points, and calling the Golden Boot top scorer adds another 10 — so a perfect bracket scores 83. Because the biggest points sit in the later rounds, the leaderboard stays competitive right up to the Final.
Points are awarded per correct prediction. Incorrect predictions score zero — no deductions.

Is the predictor challenge free to enter?
Yes, completely free. No purchase required and no credit card needed. Just sign up for a free CalibrSports account and submit your bracket.
Can I change my picks after submitting?
Yes — the bracket locks one round at a time, not all at once. Your Quarter-Final picks lock when the tournament kicks off on June 11 (16:00 UTC); your Semi-Final, Final, champion, and Golden Boot picks stay open and editable until each of those rounds is reached. You can keep refining any stage that hasn't started yet — only the rounds already underway are sealed.
When does the leaderboard update?
As each result is confirmed in our database — usually within 30 minutes of the final whistle. Points are applied automatically and your rank updates in real time.
What happens if two users tie on points?
Ties are broken by submission time — the bracket submitted earliest ranks higher. So it pays to lock in your picks early.
